Dental Assistant

ABOUT THE ROLE

We’re looking for a dental assistant who keeps the clinical day running and helps patients understand what’s happening as it happens. You’ll work chairside with Dr. Keith and Dr. Jake, prep and sterilize, take radiographs, and give patients post-op instructions they actually follow. The pace here is deliberate, so attention to detail matters more than speed.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments before and after procedures
  • Assist the dentists during exams and treatment
  • Take and process dental radiographs
  • Prepare patients for treatment and explain what to expect
  • Keep accurate patient records and charting
  • Follow infection control and OSHA standards
  • Manage dental supplies and inventory
  • Give post-operative instructions
  • Support the front office when needed

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • CPR certification, or willingness to obtain it
  • Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures
  • Clear communication and strong organization
  • Comfortable working as part of a team

NICE TO HAVE

  • Dental Assistant certification
  • X-ray certification
  • Experience with dental practice software
  • Discretion with patient information
